What is the next treatment option for shin splints? I already have custom orthotics?

idk asked:

I saw a podiatrist for shin splints and flat feet. I then got custom orthotics. Dr said it would help with the shin splints. I still have the shin splints and it is over a year later. What is the next treatment option? I am a female young teen. I stretch before everything I do like running, practicing, start of day…etc. Please do not tell me how to fix my flat feet. Thanks a bunch. I also have a doctors appt made.

Having flat feet leads to shin splints. That’s a fact of life for you. Unless you correct your flat feet they won’t get better. If you’d be willing to perform various exercises in order to correct your condition, let me know
